My father in law had the radioactive iodine back in the early 80s. Now he has been diagnosed with Grave’s disease. My fiancee is showing all of the signs of hypothyroid which he refuses to see a dr for. Ugh. This was very helpful as There are things I can have him eat that may help some of the issues until I can drag him like a 5 year old to the dr!! He has the dry patchy skin on his knuckles, knees and elbows. His knuckles are so dry they crack and bleed. He can’t get enough to eat and is constantly tired. His mom said it is exactly how his father was. Thanks for the info!!!
